Faith in Action Empowered by the Spirit of God in the Word and enabled by the love of God in the Eucharist we are called to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a community that offers opportunities to deepen love of scripture and tradition, individual and communal spiritual guidance, opportunities for retreats, mission experiences, service and work for peace and justice. It’s a vibrant relationship with the living God, a commitment to the personal growth and spiritual conversion of an on-going journey of faith. The Newman Parish warmly invites you to deepen your faith and your relationship with God through participation in our catechesis programs. Ironically, one of the best ways to learn more about your faith is to teach! The root meaning of the word catechist is “to echo.” Many catechists have found their own faith enriched by echoing their faith and serving as mentors and guides to children and youth on their faith journey. Strengthen your relationship with God and knowledge of the Catholic Church, volunteer to serve as a catechist! More>> Spiritual Growth Opportunities Newman is more than Sunday Mass. It’s a place where every one of us — whether a student or a part of what we call our permanent community — can grow spiritually and socially. We invite you to look over the opportunities summarized below and to participate in as many of them as you wish. Come grow with us. More>> | Are you interested in Real Conversation?
