Young Adults
Newman
Young Adults is the 21-and-older community here at Newman, serving
both graduate students and young professionals in the area.
By offering varied discussion groups and informal gatherings,
Newman Young Adults hopes to meet the spiritual and social needs
of this vital part of our community.
- Newman
Young Adults Listserv — Email Patrick
Pohlhaus to add your name to our Newman Young
Adults Listserv. All young adults, including graduate
and professional students are welcome to join. We
use the listserv to announce the formation of new
groups and upcoming young adult events at Newman and
in the Diocese of Raleigh..
- All graduate/professional
students or young adults are invited to join the Graduate
Student Discussion Group, which meets Tuesday at 9pm
at Newman. Please contact Bryan
Davis if you would like to be added to our listserv.
We use the listserv to discuss the topic of the week
as well as plan social and fellowship opportunities.
You don’t need to come often to our meetings
to be on our listserv.
- The
MARRIED COUPLES SMALL FAITH GROUP is a faith sharing
group that discusses issues at the intersection of
marriage, faith, and Catholicism. We meet on the 1st
and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Newman.
Call Sarah and Brant Hamel at 932-3480 for more information.
- NYA Potluck
Dinners — Bring a dish and eat many others while
spending time with other Young Adults! Please contact Patrick for
more information.
If you have
suggestions or needs that can be met through the Newman
Young Adults ministry, please feel free to contact the
Parish office with your ideas.
